Bill Gazes

Bill Gazes can win when he is playing Poker whether he is playing cash of whether he is playing in Tournaments.  Not many Poker players have achieved this feet, most Poker players win at one or the other. Bill is current ranked in the ProRank 1 Position at 285 and he consistently is a factor at every tournament and game that he plays. Bill has won over $2 Million since he has started playing Poker for money and he enjoys every minute of it.

Bill is known for his unique style of play and that is he always has his headphones on while playing Poker.  He has been interviewed and asked about this, but he has never told interviewers exactly what kind of music he listens to while taking other players chips.  The first event that he ever won was back in April 1997, where he brought home $40k and placed 4th at the World Series of Poker 28th Annual. The most money he has ever won at a Tournament was back in November 2005, where he plaid 3rd in the World Poker Finals where he took home $760k.

Bill has only placed 1st one time and that was January of 2000, where he brought home $111k in the Carnival of Poker.   Most players don’t really see him as a threat, however, this is to his benefit. He has told interviewers that he prefers to stay in the shadows as long as he keeps on winning.  His past shows us that he can win and will win because he has brought home money in 59 of the Tournaments that he has entered.  He is the big fish but he is consistently winning and he really enjoys the game.

Bill is from New York and travels the world playing in tournaments, and when he dosen’t win he has the attitde that he that much closer to the next win.  He has been quoted by interviewers ” It is part of the game to lose, however, when I do, I am that much closer to the big win!”.  There are  lot of Poker Players that really get upset when they lose, and sometimes it is the amount that they have lost, but either way, Bill says, “It is called gambling for a reason, if you won every time it would be called Winning”.
