The next time you visit Las Vegas you have to check out the Poker room inside the Mirage Hotel. The Mirage is located at 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. South and when you start walking towards the Hotel don’t get to close to the flames and watch out for the Tigers. Once inside follow the signs to the Poker Room and you will see the 30 Tables that they have set up for all the players. The Poker Room is non-smoking, however if you are a smoker all you have to do is walk out side in the patio and light up.
The Mirage Poker Room is very busy a s far as foot traffic, however that is in your favor as a Poker Player and every time I have been there the fellow players as well as the employees have always been a lively bunch and are always in a good mood. Most of the Tables at the Mirage offer Texas as well as the famous Omaha. From Monday-Thursday they offer No-Limit Texas Hold E’m, Tournaments at 7pm with a $230 Buy-In. On Sundays the Tournaments get started a little earlier at 5pm and Buy-In s can go as high as $430.
The Mirage also offers sit and go’s starting from $70 -$175 However, this is only available when there are enough players. Whether you are a experienced Poker Player or a new player you will find that at the Mirage the gaming experience is one of a kind and you will leave with a smile on your face. If you are a new player and you have not yet grasped all the different rules in Poker you should take advantage of the free Poker classes they provide, before you dive into a real game.
There are s many games to choose from once you have entered the Poker Room at the Mirage, and to list a few, Texas Hold E’m,7 Card Stud, and of course Omaha 8 or Better. If you are an experienced gambler then you will fit right in and it will feel as if you are at home when you sit down at any of the 30 tables they have to offer. The waitresses are freaking hot, and they are very good at what they do. At the end of the day, if you are in Las Vegas and you are in the mood to play some Poker, then The Mirage is the one for you, don’t just take my word for it, go check it out for yourself.

When you are in Vegas and you are in the mood for some Poker , you have many choices that are right around the corner. There are so many different Poker Rooms within walking distance from whichever hotel you decide to stay at. One of my favorites is Binion’s Gambling Hall, and it can be found inside the Horseshoe Hotel in Vegas, 128 Fremont St., Vegas, (702) 382-1600. The Tournaments that they offer their players are very unique and you have many choices as far as which Poker game you want to play as well as how much you want to bet.
Binion’s Poker Room is known for it’s variety of Tournament’s all through the day. For example, there is a No Limit Texas Hold E’m Tournament daily at 10:00 am, with a $50 Buy In. The player gets 2,000 chips with no Re-Buy and the Registration for this Tournament is 9:00 am. They have many other Tournaments throughout the day and if you are feeling Lucky you should try the 8:00 pm No Limit Texas Hold E’m which is a $120 Buy-In with 4,000 chips, and registration for this Tournament starts at 7:00 pm.
One thing that is unique about the Binion Poker Room is that they are known for their Guaranteed Prize Pots, for example every Saturday and Sunday they have a 2:00 pm Tournament that will have a $10,000 Guaranteed Prize Pot. If you are a new player and have not yet learned all the rules to Poker, they offer Poker classes daily at 11:00 am and any questions you have they will help you with, and yes these classes are free.
if you are not in the mood for a Tournament they do have regular Poker Tables available for all to use, and they start as low as $2/4 to $10/20 and No-Limit Tables $1/2 to $2/5 Blinds. As always they have their $4/8 Omaha, Hi / Lo, and by the way they have 46 of these tables available at all times. Like I said before, if you are in Vegas and you want to try out a Poker Room, you should take some time to look at this one. Don’t just take my word for it, check it out yourself. At the top of this Blog I gave you their Phone Number, so, give them a call.

Poker in Las Vegas ia available 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. There are Poker tournaments available, small ones, big one’s, they are every where. If you want to you can even play Poker from your hotel room by going online on your computer. One of the most popular games of Poker in Las Vegas is the Texas Hold E’m. You can find this game and many more pretty much anywhere on the Strip in Vegas. Texas Hold E’m is steadily growing and expanding across the Las Vegas Casino Industry.
Many Poker rooms have had to expand their Poker Rooms because of the fast growing business and the owners of all the Poker Rooms are very excited and are coming up with new promotions to get players into their casino. No Limit Texas Hold E’mtournaments can be found in almost every casino in the Las Vegas area. If you are a new Poker player you should definitely try Texas Holdem, it is a moderate paced game but usually the other players at the table don’t mind explaining the rules as you play because this gives them an advantage. Do not be afraid to try a new style of Poker, because once you start trying new games, your game gets better nd you will start to see a return on your money.
The Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas recently has expanded their hotel because they wanted to add a separate Poker Room. They are located just East of the Vegas Strip and they also have decided to add a restaurant along side of the new Poker Room. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino estimates that it will take until 2009 for them to be finished with all the construction of all the new buildings.
Suncoast has also recently done some new construction to add a Poker Room and they have tournaments every day starting as early as 10AM. The Poker scene in Las Vegas is off the chain, it is growing at a rate that can hardly even be put to words. This is not a bad thing by no means and all of the local business owners are taking advantage of it by marketing and selling everything that has to do with Poker, Texas Holdem as well as paying people to wear funny costumes and wave at people on the street in front of their buildings. The bottom line is if you like to play Poker whether you are an old Poker player or a new Poker player, Vegas is a very fun place to stay and play some Poker. So good luck and always remember to have fun.

If you like to play Poker there are so many ways to play and so many places as well. If you want to go online and play Poker you can, if you want to go to a casino you can, you can even go to a friends house and play with your friends. There are even Poker Rooms around town, whether they are stand alone Poker Rooms or inside a Dog Track. Tampa Bay Greyhound Track in Tampa has a very nice Poker Room, however, not to many people even know that it exist. When you drive by the place when the dogs are not running it looks like the place is closed, but it is open and the Poker Room is ready for players.
If you like to play in tournaments then this is the Poker Room for you. They pride themselves on high quality play as well as offer the players in the tournaments great Bonuses. On Sundays they offer a no-juice tournament with a $80 buy-in, and it max’s out at 150 players. They offer 2 tournaments a day, 1st one starts at 1PM and the other starts at 6:30PM. All of the money goes into a pool and the house gets a percentage.
If you are ever in the Tampa Bay area and you love to play Poker this is a place you should check out. It is kind of out of the way, but sometimes that is where the best Poker Rooms are. A lot of times I find that these kinds of places give the average Joe a better advantage to win the pot. The 6:30PM tournament is a deep stack tournament, which gives each player $6,500 in chips. The Poker Rooms themselves are very clean, they pride themselves with being very picky with how the tables look and they do not even allow food at the table, but they do let you drink at the table.
If you do get hungry when you are there you can simply walk away from the table and there is a buffet and a large menu for food right behind you. The food there is actually quite good and for the price you really can’t beat it. The Poker Room is open from noon to midnight, seven days a week. There are 21 tables, and about 50% of them are always being used. This means that whenever you feel like stopping by and trying your luck you will always have a table with your name on it. This is another great reason why you should check this Poker Room out.

Professional Poker Players are every where, however, Michael DeMichele is a upcoming Professional Poker Player who within the past 2 years has earned $1.2 Million. He is only 23 years old and is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, and started playing Poker when he turned 18. Like any other beginner Poker player Mike started out playing at the low limit tables $1-$2 tables. It did not take long for Mike to graduate to the next step up table. The $3-$6 tables up to $30 -$60 bet is where he went next, then once he learned and got comfortable he went to Online Gambling.
After Mike had been playing Poker online for a while and had logged on more than 11,000 times he moved to Connecticut, and started playing Poker at the famous Foxwood Casino. He played the High-stakes live cash Poker games and his favorite games ae Stud 8 or better and also he enjoys playing Omaha 8 or better. Mike excels at both of these games and moved up to the $75 -$150 Limits very quickly. After being very successful at playing Poker at Foxwoods, he decided to enter his first tournament, which was a $10,000 Buy-in. This was in the 2006 US Poker Championship at the Taj Mahal. He ended up placing 3rd and taking home $215,000.
This year 2008, Mike entered the WSOP in Vegas and did not really do well but he did not let this slow him down a bit. He went on to play at the $10,000 World Champion Mixed Event and by the time he was done there he placed 4th and took home $140,000. Mike has a unique style of game play where if you saw him walking out of the Casino you would think that he was either just getting off work because he dresses unlike any other player and does not look like a normal Poker player. You can not tell he has been playing Poker for 12 hours straight.
Mike entered a $50,000 HORSE game where at one point in the game he was holding $7 million in chips but by the end of the game he placed 2nd winning a total of $1.2 Million. Not bad for a 23 year old kid. Mike is very mature for his age and he dos not do any of the rude things some players do at the table, he is very reserved, and gives the other players the utmost respect. He just simply sits at the table placing bets in a timely fashion while he listens to his Ipod.
